This ongoing body of work attempts to explore the way in
which physical space is utilised. In a time where space is viewed as a luxury
rather than a need, largely by those who profit of off it, what is it actually
being done with this luxury?

This ongoing body of work attempts to explore the way in
which physical space is utilised. In a time where space is viewed as a luxury
rather than a need, largely by those who profit of off it, what is it actually
being done with this luxury?
Initially focusing on an old farmland space that previously
served as a working and educational site, the images capture the landscape and
its dilapidation. We see that state of the wastage- of the physical space and
the things in it. By photographing on sunny days and editing in a way not dissimilar to those that might
be used in advertising campaigns, a juxtaposition between what we see and the
tone of the images is formed.
This body of work is intended to be extended to other places
in similar states; uninhabited housing, old buildings, rural areas in a neglected state, industrial
buildings no longer used. Why do we waste the potential of these spaces?
