“Cyberspace.
A consensual hallucination experienced daily by billions of legitimate
operators, in every nation [...] A graphic representation of data
abstracted from banks of every computer in the human system. Unthinkable
complexity. Lines of light ranged in the nonspace
of the mind, clusters and constellations of data.”
-William
Gibson,
Neuromancer
(1984).
Existing
Space is about the exploration of reality and artificial reality, particularly
in a world in which the boundaries are becoming increasingly blurred. The
liminal elements of science and fiction are combined by creating a solar system
of planets, all of them using digital manipulation, linking to the idea of
cyberspace and alternate reality. We are witnessing places that seem real, yet only exist within the images.
